Biographical Sketch
As a Sr. Consultant in the Office of Instruction and Assessment (OIA), my assignment draws upon my 30+ years of experience with information technology. My job involves exploring emerging technologies and evaluating their value to UA instruction. I lead the OIA team specializing in website development, graphics design, applications programming, and instructional games interactions.
I have has taught online and hybrid courses at the University of Arizona and Pima Community College and welcome the opportunity to consult with faculty, instructors and T.A.s about resources that can enhance student learning in their courses.
I am the OIA’s lead on podcasting, the UA on iTunes U, the UA's YouTube channel and instructional blogging. A project I began in 1994, Through Our Parents' Eyes: History & Culture of Southern Arizona, brings the history, culture and experiences of the many peoples who live in this vibrant region to the Web. Background & Education
I received a B.A. in History and an M.A. in Modern European History from the University of Cincinnati and an M.S. in Library & Information Science from Indiana University. I worked at Penn State University and the University of Delaware before coming to the UA in 1991.
